9/16 Concordia Wins Dragon/Bison Invitational.
Concordia continued their torrid pace of winning local tournaments by adding the Dragon/Bison Invitational to their resume. The Cobbers were led by senior Jenni Kovash (Moorhead MN, Moorhead H.S.), the medalist for the tournament with a score of 151, who was the only golfer to break 80 both days. Liz Meschke (Fr., Pequot Lakes MN, Pequot Lakes H.S.) finished fifth with a two-day total of 165. Concordia's two-day total of 656 outdistanced second place NDSU by a full 26 strokes.
