5/03 Four Cobbers Compete at the MIAC Heptathlon.
Four Concordia athletes competed at the MIAC Heptathlon held at Carleton College in Northfield. Margaret Cropp (Sr., Verona, Minn.) finished in fourth place, with a personal best mark of 4,104 points. She won the javelin event at the meet and finished second in the 100M high hurdles and 200M dash.  Renee Splichal (Fr., Garrison, Minn.) finished in 14th place and Kristen Haglund (So., Willmar, Minn.) finished 15th. Senior Angie Strom (Brandon, Minn.), who finished fifth at last year's Heptathlon, pulled a hamstring muscle and had to withdraw from the event.
