Heidi Brenden Sr. Minot, ND Set a school record in the 800 Meters at the St. Ben's Invite. Her time of 2:15.40 is the third fastest in Division III and provisionally qualifies her for nationals.

2/24 Concordia Sends Small But Talented Squad to St. Ben's Invite.
Concordia only sent eight athletes to the St. Ben's invitational but came away with big results. Senior Heidi Brenden (Minot, ND) set a school record in the 800 Meter run. Her time of 2:15.40 is the third fastest time in Division III this year and provisionally qualifies her for nationals.

Heather Brenden (Sr., Minot, ND), Heidi's sister, won the 1500 with a time of 4:46.38. That time is among the top four in school history and is also a personal record. Other event winners at the Blazer Invite were - Whitney Ostrem (Sr., Roseville, MN) in the 400 with a time of 61.81 and Kelli Tranby (Jr., Moorhead, MN) in the Long Jump. This meet marked the first time Tranby has ever competed in the long jump, and her distance of 16'8" is an MIAC qualifying distance and a personal record. Tranby also finished second in the 200 Meters with a time of 28.23.

Naomi Hill (So., Missoula, MT) finished third in the 1000 Meters with a time of 3:17.73.
