| Final and Preliminary Results for the 800 Meter Run  |

3/10 Heidi Brenden Finishes 2nd in the Finals of the 800
Heidi Brenden (Sr., Minot, ND) finished 2nd in the nation in the 800 with a school record time of 2:13.48. She breaks her own school record by over two seconds, and earns All-American honors for the first time in her career.

3/9 Heidi Brenden Qualifies for Finals in 800.
Heidi Brenden (Sr., Minot, ND) qualified for the finals in the 800 with a time of 2:15.96. Her time was the seventh fastest in the prelims, and guaranteed her a spot in the top eight in the nation.

3/6 Heidi Brenden Qualifies for NCAA Indoor National Meet.
Heidi Brenden (Sr., Minot, ND) provisional qualifying time of 2:15.40 in the 800 meter run has qualified her for the NCAA Division III National meet in Oshkosh, WI. on March 9th and 10th. She is currently seeded sixth in the event.

Brenden's qualifying run occurred at the St. Ben's Invite and set an indoor school record. It will be the second time Brenden has competed at indoor nationals. In 1999 she qualified in the 800 as well, but did not advance to  the finals in the event. She has competed twice at the outdoor nationals. In 1998 she qualified in the 1500 and in 1999 she competed in the 800. She was also a key member of the cross country team this fall that competed at the national meet. It was the first time since 1990 Concordia had qualified for the national meet.
