9/01 Concordia Sweeps Presentation (SD) 3-0.
The young Concordia volleyball team bolted from the starting blocks on the right foot for the 2001 season, as they swept Presentation College (SD) 30-16, 30-21, 30-23.

The Cobbers were led by middle hitters Kris Sather (Fr., Fosston, Minn.) and Danielle Schmiesing (Villard, Minn.). Sather put down 12 kills in the three games, while Schmiesing had 10. Jessica Walden (Fr., Hawley, Minn.) had a team-high 24 assists for the match.

Concordia hosts cross-town rival MSU-Moorhead on Wednesday, September 5th at 7:00. There will be a junior varsity game between the same teams at 5:00.
