So. Pine River, Minn. Has been selected to play in the NCAA Division III National Tournament. |
Concordia sophomore golfer Liz Meschke (Pine River, Minn.) has been selected to participate in the NCAA Division III National Golf Tournament. The championship will be held on May 14-17 at The Orchards Golf Club on the campus of Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts.
It is the second straight year that Meschke will participate in the tournament. Last year she helped Concordia finish second as a team, and finished tied for 40th. This past fall she never finished lower than fifth in any tournament she competed, and capped the season by finishing second at the MIAC Championships.
Meschke will finish off a busy spring season at the national tournament.
Last weekend she helped the Cobbers women's tennis team at the MIAC tournament.
She has been splitting her time in the spring with both the tennis and
golf teams. She finished her tennis leg of the season with a 7-6 record
at #4 singles. She lost in the semi-finals of the conference tournament.
