Cobbers are Sunk by St. Thomas 115-90.
Kirsten Borchardt (Fr., Hutchinson, Kans.) continued to improve in her first year as a college swimmer, winning both the 500 and 1000 yard freestyle events, but it wasn't enough as the Cobbers lost to St. Thomas 115-90.

Borchardt swam a college career best in the 500 yard freestyle in a time of 5:40.69. She also swam a final time of 11:40.65 in the 1000 free to win by over 40 seconds. Megan Johnson (Fr., South St. Paul, Minn.) and Erika Miles (Sr., Bigfork, Minn.) also won events for the Cobbers. Johnson won the 200 yard freestyle in a time of 2:07.43 and Miles cleaned up in the 100 yard butterfly, winning by over five seconds, in a time of  1:06.27. Johnson also finished second in the 100 yard freestyle. Jenny Berg (So., Plymouth, Minn.), Emily Arndt (So., Fort Collins, Colo.) and Sarah Logan (Fr., Missoula, Mont.) all claimed second place finishes. Berg swam a 2:29.42 in the 200 yard individual medley, Arndt finished in 1:14.53 in the 100 yard breastroke - a season best and Logan swam a 1:08.15 in the 100 yard backstroke.

Concordia will host MSU-Moorhead on Friday, December 14 at 6:00pm.
