Cobbers Drop Third Straight, Lose to Carleton 9-0.
(Northfield, Minn)-- For the second consecutive match, Concordia was shutout. The Cobbers were blanked by Carleton 9-0 in Northfield. On Saturday, Concordia lost to St. Olaf 9-0.

Andrea Styba (Jr., Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) lost the closest match of the day. Styba, laying at the number six singles position, dropped a 6-4, 6-1 decision to Carleton's Shelley Getzendanner. The number one doubles team of Erica Tollefson (Sr., Madison, Minn., Lac Qui Parle Valley HS) and Bethany Meier (So., Crookston, Minn.). fell for the second consecutive match. Tollefson and Meier lost 8-3 to Carleton's number one doubles tandem.

The Cobbers will participate in the University of North Dakota Invitational on Saturday, February 28 beginning at 9:00am. They will then turn around and host Macalester on Sunday, February 29 at 11:00am.
