Cobbers Place Two Players on MIAC All-Conference Honorable Mention Team.

Shawn Kleven Jr. Crookston, Minn. Was named to the MIAC All-Conference Honorable Mention Team. He led the Cobbers in scoring in 2003-04.

Jon Rudnick Fr., Moorhead, Minn. Was named to the MIAC All-Conference Honorable Mention Team. He was third in the MIAC in power play goals.

(ST. PAUL)--- Shawn Kleven (Jr., Crookston, Minn.) and Jon Rudnick (Fr., Moorhead, Minn.) were named to the MIAC All-Conference Honorable Mention Team it was announced on Tuesday at the year-end MIAC coaches meeting. Both players earn postseason honors for the first time in their careers.

St. John's led all MIAC schools by placing seven players on the MIAC All-Conference team. The Johnnies head coach John Harrinton was named the Coach of the Year and Johnnies' senior forward Kevin Willey was named the MIAC Co-Player of the Year. Willey shares the honor with Dustan Lick of St. Thomas.

Kleven had a breakout season for the Cobbers in 2003-04. Entering the year, Kleven had a total of 13 points and he led the team in scoring this season. He scored nine goals and collected ten assists for 19 points. Kleven also led the team in plus/minus.

Rudnick was among the league leaders in scoring by a first-year player. He was tied for the team lead in goals with 11 and finished the season with 15 points. He was also tied for third in the MIAC in power play goals (4).
