Carleton Summary
By taking his match to three games, Carleton's Zach Pruitt '00 saved
a 5-4 Carleton victory over Concordia on April 16. Pruitt dropped the first
game of the No. 2 singles match to the Cobbers' Jonah Beckermann 3-6, but
the following 6-2 set put the momentum in Pruitt's favor, and he secured
the win with a 6-1 final game.
Pruitt also met success with No. 2 doubles partner Nat Lemke '02; the No. 3 doubles pair of Aaron Schwartz '02 and Nick Olson '02 and Nos. 4 and 5 singles Evan Houston '02 and David Oji '01 were other winners for Carleton.
For Concordia, No. 1 Matt Blom, No. 3 Nate Svingen, No. 6 Andy Bakke, and the No. 1 doubles pair of Blom and Svingen tasted victory.
