Nathan Merseth - Nate ranks with the best tight ends in the MIAC. His fine hands and good speed make him a consistently dangerous target in the passing game. Nate also has become a strong blocker through hard work and dedication in the weight room.

Merseth caught 29 passes for 292 yards in 1995, averaging 10.1 yards per catch. He also tied the team high with four touchdown receptions. He was a reliable receiver for the Cobbers throughout the season and made a habit of catching passes for first downs to sustained scoring drives.
Merseth, a 1993 graduate of Frazee high school, is majoring in biology. He is the son of Joe and Karen Merseth of Frazee, Minn.
