Coach Jim Christopherson's 1997 pre-season Comments:

Jed moved into the starting lineup his freshman year and has been a fixture at right guard ever since.  A lineman with good size and mobility, he pass blocks well and is a force in the Cobbers' strong running game.  Jed is a team captain this year.

(Note: Jed's father was an All-Conference hockey player at Concordia.)
