The Cobbers finished in third place in the Minn-Kota Volleyball Conference tournament held at home, and placed captain Joanne Robinson, a junior from Markham, IL, and Vickie Edwall, a senior from New Brighton, MN, on the All-Conference team.

Overall the volleyball team achieved a 8-9 record with four wins and three losses in the conference. In final season play in the MAIAW State Tournament in Duluth, the Cobbers managed to overcome Bemidji State and St Olaf for a 3-5 tournament finish.
