Concordia's volleyball squad finished sixth in the MIAC Women's Division State Tournament, held at Macalester College, St. Paul, Nov. 4 and 5.

In the first round the Cobbers defeated St. Mary's Winona, 2-0. Injuries hurt the team in the second match against Augsburg, Minneapolis, which they lost 2-1. A 2-1 win against Hamline, St. Paul, was followed by a 2-0 loss to St. Catherine's, St. Paul.

Although their two wins advanced them into the top bracket of the tournament, they lost to Gustavus Adolphus, St. Peter, and Bethel, St. Paul, both by scores of 2-1.
