Women finish a good season

The Cobber women captured third place in a field of 10 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Division (MIAC W) meet and finished ninth out of 14 in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Regional Championships.

Junior Lynnette Dyrdahl from Kalispell, Mont., was the top runner throughout the season for the women. At the conference meet, her 5000 meter time of 18:55 was good enough to win eighth place as well as all-MIAC honors Dyrdahl placed 29th at the regional, followed directly by junior teammate Carlene Paulson from Moorhead in 30th place.
