The Concordia wrestling team continued to experience growing pains Tuesday night as cross-town rival Moorhead State thumped the Cobbers 41-4 in a non-conference dual.

First year student Nathan Reiff, the Cobber's 177 pound entry, was the only victor on the long night for Concordia.

This past weekend, the Cobbers traveled to Wisconsin-River Falls for the River Falls Open. Reiff led the way for the Cobbers, as he was the only wrestler on the squad to finish the meet with a winning record. Reiff finished the meet at 3-2. He started with two wins, including a technical fall. However, he was beaten 5-0 by Augsburg's Casteel to fall into the wrestlebacks. After topping Fergus Falls Community College's Rahm 3-1. He faced Morris's Bill Roberts in his final match, and for the second time in four days, he fell to the Cougar wrestler 6-2.

Reiff's record now stands at 7-6 for the season. Dean Nielson, a heavyweight, is 7-5 on the year, while Kevin Jackson is 4-2 at 126 pounds.

The squad will be in St. Cloud tomorrow for the Huskie Invite. It is the last meet for the team before the semester break.
