
The Cobber hockey team lost two games last weekend at Gustavus 6-2 and 11-0.
The Cobbers fell to 1-14 in the MIAC, 2-20-1 overall.
They stayed with the Gusties on Friday night. The teams were tied 1-1 at the end of the first period on junior Greg Salvevold's goal assisted by first-year students Mike Simonich and Corey Rupp.
Salvevold's goal was his 15th of the year, which leads the team.
Following two Gustie goals, Concordia narrowed the gap again when Ryan Kortan scored and was assisted by fellow juniors Matt Fabian and Jeff Corkish.
Gustavus opened up the game as they scored the next four goals on route to the win.
Saturday, the Gusties simply overwhelmed Concordia as Gustavus won 11-0 by erupting for six goals in the first period.
The Cobbers end their season this weekend when they travel to St. Olaf today and tomorrow.
