Shane Peters
Assistant Women's Hockey Coach
Shane Peters is in his first year as assistant coach for the Concordia College women's ice hockey program.
Peters, a native of Edmonton, Alberta is a graduate of the University of Alberta, where he played he was a goalie for the Golden Bears. Besides playing at the canadian college level, he has played goalie at the major junior, semi-pro, and minor-league levels. At the minor league level he played with the ECHL's Columbus Chill.
He has also coached at the youth hockey and college levels, as well as serving as a player/coach for a professional men's hockey team in Japan.
In addition to working with Concordia's goaltenders, Shane is currently the head coach of the Brattleboro Nighthawks, a womens' senior team in Brattleboro, VT, and is also the assistant coach with the Northfield Mount Hermon Girl's Varsity Team in Northfield, MA.
During the offseason Shane is a lead goaltending instructor for Legace's Goaltending Schools.
