March 13 Shana competed in the 200 Breaststroke . She placed 22nd with a 2:27.94.
March 12 Shana finished 15th in the 100 breaststroke with a 1:07.09 earning All-American Honorable Mention status.
March 11 Shana finished 45th in the 200 IM but set a new school record with a 2:20.06.

3/1/98 Shana, who earned all-MIAC honors with her first place finish in the MIAC 100 yd. Breaststroke, learned today that her provisional NCAA qualifying time of 1:08.16 was .17 second shy of getting her a spot at the NCAA Meet. She needed to have had a 1:07.99.

2/20/98 Shana posted a 108.16 to win the MIAC Breast Stroke title. That makes her an NCAA provisional qualifyer.

2/11/98
Shana  has posted a 2:30.02  in the 200 Breaststroke and needs a 2:29.59, in the 100 Breaststroke to possibly qualify for nationals. She has posted a 1:09.66 and needs a 1:09.19 for the B cut for nationals.  To make the A cuts and ensure a trip to nationals she will need to post a 2:24.99 in the 200 yard breast stroke and a 1:06.99 in the 100 yard breast stroke.  She is now ranked 19th nationally in the 200 and 26th in the 100.
