1987-88 Cobber Women's Golf

The women's golf team placed third in the National Small College Division Ill Tournament at Des Moines, Iowa, and first in the Northern State Invitational in Aberdeen, S.D.

According to Coach Duane Siverson, the team's hardworking practice habits led to consistent scoring. Among the team's best golfers were sophomore Jodie Wange, Luverne, Minn. who had the lowest scoring average on the team, and senior Kathy Larson, Franklin , Minn., who placed 15th in the national tournament.
