Men's soccer jumped off to a 9-1-1 start and earned a No. 7 national ranking before losing some tough contests and ending up 10-6-2. Women's soccer also started well but finished 4-13. The Cobber volleyball team went 6-5 in the MIAC regular season and earned a non-conference win over the University of North Dakota on their way to a 16-21 season.
Both cross country teams struggled, each finishing 10th at their respective MIAC championships. But the opening of the Olson Forum, with its 200 meter track, has already greatly enhanced recruiting prospects for both programs.
