Concordia drops season opener at MSU-Moorhead.
The Cobbers kicked off the 2000 season by dropping their first match
of the year 3-0 (15-4,15-12,15-7) to crosstown rival MSU-Moorhead. Sam
Scariano (Sr., Billings MT, Billings Senior H.S.) paced the Cobber attack
with 11 kills, the most by any player in the match, while Kristy
Anderson (Jr., Willmar MN, Willmar H.S.) finished with 9. Concordia's
next match is in two weeks when they travel to Texas to play in the University
of Dallas tournament.
