Concordia Loses in Five Game Thriller to St. Olaf.
Concordia took St.Olaf to the limit before finally losing in a five game thriller 3-2 (15-12, 9-15, 11-15, 15-2, 13-15). The Oles are the seventh ranked team in Division III, and came into the match with an undefeated record in league play (3-0) and an overall record of 13-2. The Cobbers started strong and took the first game 15-12 but then proceeded to drop the next two. Concordia then blasted St. Olaf in the fourth game 15-2 before losing the fifth 15-13. Sam Scariano (Sr., Billings, MT) led the Cobbers with 14 kills while Leah Sanden  (Jr., Sioux Falls, SD) contributed 33 assists.

Concordia is now 2-3 in the MIAC and 10-8 overall. The Cobbers are in action tomorrow when they host St. Mary's who is also undefeated in the MIAC.
