12/06 Concordia Holds Off Augsburg 68-58.

Concordia held off a pesky Augsburg team that refused to give up, and won 68-58. The Cobbers opened up a nine point halftime lead and pushed it to 14 in the second half. Augsburg kept the pressure on and at one point were within five points with under seven minutes to play. Concordia then went on a run of their own to reestablish the double digit lead and ended the game ahead by 10. The Cobbers were led by "Miss Inside" Kasey Bostow (Fargo, ND) and "Miss Outside" Brandi Myers (Sr., Glyndon,MN).Bostow had 19 points, most of which came from around the basket, while Myers hit for 19 from the perimeter. Concordia continued to be plagued by foul trouble as Myers fouled out for the third time in four games, and several other Cobbers had to play with four fouls for an extended period.

Concordia finally comes home as they will play their first home game of the year on Saturday at 1:00 against St. Olaf.
