Jr. Wahpeton, ND Became the first Concordia to wrestle at the national meet since 1999. |
Concordia junior wrestler Zack Schroeder (Wahpeton, ND) participated at the NCAA Division III National Wrestling Meet. Schroeder received a bye in the first round in the 133 pound weight class before losing his second round match to Dan Flounders of the College of New Jersey 8-0. Flounders advanced to the championship match in the weight class. Schroeder dropped a close 7-4 decision in the quarterfinals of the consolation round to Dorian Cast of Olivet College.
Schroeder is the first Cobbers to compete at the national meet since
All-American Nathan Reiff placed seventh in 1999.
