Season Outlook and Notes:
8/17/00
Youth will be served in the 2000 edition of the Concordia men's soccer team. The team lost nine regular contributors from the 1999 team and will only have one senior on this year's team. The team will be led by the three captains; forward Chance Buzzell (Jr., Anoka MN, Anoka H.S.), midfielder Gennard Lombardozzi (Jr., Billings MT, Billings West H.S.) and defender Scott Noland (Jr., Glenwood MN, Minnewaska H.S.). The Cobbers are hoping that youthful exuberance will overcome lack of experience and place the team in the top of the MIAC. Adding depth to the team will be Cyle Cavett (Fargo, ND, Fargo South) and Peter Pawlowski (Minneapolis MN, Holy Angels H.S.), two sophomores that improved late in the 1999 season and will be looked upon to continue their strong presence on the field in 2000.
