Registration Times: Saturday, October 13, 2001, 7:30-8:50 a.m. or by mail.
Competitor Numbers/Labels/Pins: Should be picked up on Saturday, October 13, 2001 between 7:30-8:50 a.m. Numbers should be worn on the front side of the body.
Cost: $3.00 Open/Alumni, Concordia Students Free
Participants: Open to the public, students, faculty, staff and friends.
Start/Finish Area: 12th Ave. S. & 6th St. S., just South of Memorial Auditorium
Awards: A brief awards ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Start/Finish Area (Olson Forum Indoor Track if raining). The following placers will receive t-shirts:
Open Division: 1st, 2nd place male; 1st, 2nd place female in each category; 19&under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Concordia Alumni Division: 1st, 2nd place male; 1st, 2nd place female in each category; 19&under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Concordia Student Division: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place male; 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place female.
1 Mile Run (12 & under): 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place male; 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place female.
Course: Maps will be available at the Start/Finish Area from 7:30-8:50 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2001. The course will be South on 6th St. S., West (right) on 22nd Ave. S., enter Gooseberry Park following the road, across the Gooseberry Bridge, turn left after the bridge for a short loop on the road in Lindenwood Park, back across the bridge to Gooseberry Park, and then return along the same route.
Medical Staff: A student athletic trainer will be available at the Memorial Auditorium Training Room (lower level). The purpose of the student athletic trainer is to care for injuries and emergencies that occur during the race. If you have a chronic injury, we encourage you to consult a physician.
