Cobbers Battle To Tie Finlandia 3-3.
The Cobbers opened the scoring with two goals in the first period, by Adam Sorenson (Fr., Maple Plain, Minn.) at 4:05 and Aaron Marsh (Jr., Summerland, BC) at 12:15, but Finlandia bounced back and tied it with two goals in the second period, by Avery Wilson at 3:51 and Tony Zingone at 8:48. The Lions took a 3-2 lead on a goal by Pete Kolasa at 1:06 of the third period, but the Cobbers evened it back up at 8:23 on a goal my Matt Hansen (Fr., Fargo, N. Dak.). Neither team could put home a goal in overtime and the game ended knotted at 3-3.

The Cobbers' next action is in three weeks at home with a game against St. Norbert College on Friday, Jan. 4, at 7:00, and a game against Lake Forest on Sat., Jan. 5, at 7:00.
