Straight from the theme of the movie "Groundhog's Day", Concordia continues to wake up and repeat the same game plot, game-after-game. The Cobbers changed opponents but the outcome was the same, as they lost another game by one goal - their fifth straight loss by a lone goal. This time Hamline played the co-starring role, scoring in the fifth minute and holding on for the 1-0 victory. It was also the fourth time in five games that Concordia has lost by the score of 1-0.
Despite outshooting Hamline 18-10 and holding the majority of possession, the Cobbers were unable to find a way to get the ball past Piper goalie Brian Lawson. Concordia did manage to put the ball past Lawson once, only to have a Hamline defender clear the ball off the line. Lawson finished the day with eight saves and made several key stops in the first half of play. Kris Overby (Jr., Fargo, N.Dak.) made five saves in goal for Concordia.
