8/1/99 Peter Hovde named new head coach, Mark Johnson continues as an assistant coach. 

Preseason Preview:
The Cobbers are coming off a second place finish at last year's MIAC championship. But they will be without three seniors from that 1998-99 team, including two-time All-MIAC players Brandon Riddering and Mike Simonich. 

The top returner for the 1999-2000 Cobbers will likely be Moorhead sophomore Mike Hagen, who finished 6th last year's MIAC championship to earn All-MIAC honors. 

The Cobbers open their season September 11th when they host the Concordia Invitational at the Meadows.
