Season Outlook/Notes
Season Outlook/Notes
1998-99 marks the inagural season for Wildcat varsity hockey.  A club team in conjunction with St. Thomas existed for two years.  Four club players along with 11 first-year students make up this year’s team.  The season looks to be a challenge competing in the MIAC and several non-confernce opponents.  Co-captain Mahrya Honer (Mounds View) and Nicki Norwich Bloomington Jefferson) bring Minnesota State Tournament experience to the team.  Co-captain Carrie Mckinney, Beth Janni, and Melissa Zachman will be significant contributors to the team’s sucesses of this season and into the future.
