Start Time:  9:00 a.m.

Participants:  Open to the public, students, faculty, staff and friends.

Cost:  $3.00 Open/Alumni, $5.00 per male-female team, Concordia Students Free

Registration Times:  Friday, October 8, 1999, 12:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
                     Saturday, October 9, 1999, 8:00-8:50 a.m.

Competitor Numbers/Labels/Pins:  Should be picked up on Saturday, October 9, 1999 between 8:00-8:50 a.m.  Numbers should be worn on the front side of the body.

Start/Finish Area:  12th Ave. S. & 6th St. S., just South of Memorial Auditorium

Awards:  A brief awards ceremony will be held at 9:45 a.m. at the Start/Finish Area (Olson Forum Indoor Track if raining).  The following placers will receive t-shirts:

Open Division:  1st, 2nd, & 3rd place male; 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place female; 1st place male-female team (combined time) must declare teammates prior to race time; 1st, 2nd, 3rd place guess your time (may not wear a watch).

Concordia Alumni Division:  Two divisions:  Graduate – 40 and 40+; 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place male; 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place female; 1st place male-female team (combined time) must declare teammates prior to race time; 1st, 2nd, 3rd place guess your time (may not wear a watch).

Concordia Student Division:  1st, 2nd, & 3rd place male; 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place female; 1st place male-female team (combined time) must declare teammates prior to race time; 1st, 2nd, 3rd place guess your time (may not wear a watch).

Awards:  Participants may win only one t-shirt.  In the event that a participant wins two t-shirts the second t-shirt will be awarded to the next highest finisher in that category.

Course:  Maps will be available at the Start/Finish Area from 8:00-8:50 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 1999.  The tentative course is South on 6th St. S., West (right) on 22nd Ave. S., enter Gooseberry Park, follow road through Gooseberry Park, across the Gooseberry Bridge, a short loop on the bike path and road in Lindenwood Park, back on the road in Gooseberry Park, then return along the same route.

Medical Staff:  A certified athletic trainer will be available at the Start/Finish Area.  The purpose of the certified athletic trainer is to care for injuries and emergencies that occur during the race.  If you have a chronic injury, we encourage you to consult a physician.
