10/18 Concordia Comes Home and Shuts Out Augsburg 2-0.
Concordia kept their MIAC  home winning  streak in tact as they shutout Augsburg 2-0. The Cobbers have won all four conference games this year at home while managing only a tie in their four road games.
JasonVanValkenburg (Fr. Fargo, ND) finished off a Paul Poduska (Jr., Fort Collins, CO) cross at 59:53 and then Chance Buzzell (Jr. Anoka, MN) scored 22 seconds later to put the game out of reach. First year goalie, Kris Overby recorded his sixth shutout on the season. Concordia moves to 4-3-1 in the MIAC and 7-5-2 overall. The Cobbers fly to California to play two games during mid-semester break. On October 20th they play Whittier College at 4:00 and on October 22nd they play California Lutheran at 3:30.
