8/30 Coach Cella announces 1999
Roster |
Quick Preview:
The Cobbers won MIAC titles in 1995 and
1996
and finished 2nd in the MIAC in 1997. They'll
be hoping to rebound from a 8-10 record last year,
3-7
in the MIAC, an uncharacteristic 8th place
finish.
Concordia opens its 1999 schedule Sept. 4-5
at the St. John's tourney vs Briar Cliff and Northland (Wis.).
Coach Jim Cella begins his 8th season at
Concordia with a 69-43-7 career record.
1999 Captains are Dustin
Holt and Eric Singer.
Singer was last year's team MVP.
Cella has 12 of last year's
top 13 scorers back, losing only Forrest Olson
to graduation from that list. But the Cobbers scored just 13
goals in MIAC play last year, down from 21
in 1997.
