10/20 Concordia Loses 1-0 in Overtime to California Lutheran.
Concordia conceeded a goal 1:05 into overtime and lost to California Lutheran 1-0. California Lutheran who is ranked eighth in the West Region and undefeated at home this year, held the advantage in shots but both teams traded dangerous chances late in the second half. The Cobbers best opportunity came late in the game when Chance Buzzell (Jr., Anoka, MN) headed the ball past the keeper only to have a defender make the save on the play.With the loss, Concordia drops to 8-6-2 on the year while Cal. Lutheran ups their mark to 12-4-1. Concordia returns home from California, and raps up the MIAC with games against Bethel on October 31st and St. John's November 4th.
