Jerry Nathan Fr. Fargo, ND Scored the lone goal in Concordia's loss to Luther and was named to the All-Tournament Team.

9/10 Concordia loses in overtime to Luther 2-1.
Concordia lost 2-1 in overtime to Luther in  the championship game of the Millenium  Classic. The Norse tied the score on an own goal when one of the Cobber defenders accidentally cleared the ball into his own goal at the 50 minute mark. In overtime Luther defender Matt Fitzgerald hit a 30 yard rocket  that found the back of the net to clinch the title. The Cobbers went ahead 1-0 in the first  half when first year player Jerry Nathan (Fargo ND, Fargo South H.S.) headed home  a Gennard Lombardozzi (Jr., Billings MT, Billings West H.S.) cross. Concordia held the  lead until the defensive miscue in the second half. Cobber players Jerry  Nathan, Cyle Cavett (So., Fargo ND, Fargo South H.S.), Luke Dewey (So., Anoka MN, Anoka H.S.) and Peter Pawlowski (So., Minneapolis MN, Holy Angels H.S.) were all named to the All-Tournament Team. Concordia will  next play host to the Cobber Invitational on September 16th and 17th when they will play Nebraska Wesleyan and St. Scholastica.
