Concordia used a three-goal second period to pull away from UM-Crookston and win 6-3. Mark Schiller's (Sr., Detroit Lakes, MN) two goals in the middle period proved to be the game-winning offense for the Cobbers, as they won for the ninth time this season.

Concordia (9-6-2) trailed 2-1 after the first period as the Golden Eagles (12-4-1) scored first and last in the period. After the first intermission the Cobber defense tightened and allowed only 19 shots the rest of the game. In the deciding period, Schiller opened the scoring, and tied the game, at 11:56 on an assist from Jon Tranby (Sr., Moorhead, MN). Toby Schneider (Jr., Grand Forks, ND) scored shorthanded at 14:20 to give Concordia the lead, and the Cobbers would never look back. Schiller finished the period by netting his second goal of the night at 15:37.

Crookston came out and scored first in the third period, only to be answered by two more goals from Concordia. Finishing the scoresheet for the Cobbers was Treavor Peterson (So., Thief River Falls, MN) and Aaron Marsh (So., Summerland, BC). Concordia outshot Crookston 31-29. Senior goaltender Bryan Howard (Gold River, CA) made 26 and collected his ninth win of the season.

Concordia returns to MIAC action on Friday as they host St. John's for a weekend series. Game time are 7:00 on Friday and 2:00 on Saturday.
