9/09 Concordia Finishes Third at Luther Tourney.
Concordia topped Morningside 2-1 on Sunday to earn third place at the Luther Tournament. Kendra Lee (Jr., Jamestown, ND) scored both goals for the Cobbers. Her first strike came at 21:35 of the first half to give the Cobbers a 1-0 halftime lead. She scored again at 56:44, off an Amy Jo Walthall (Jr., Staples, MN) assist, to put the Cobbers up 2-0. Morningside picked up a goal at 79:04 to finish the scoring at 2-1.

On Saturday, the Cobbers were shut-out 4-0 by Luther, and were out shot 15-6.

Kendra Lee (Jr., Jamestown, ND) and Sarah Hess (Sr., Anchorage, AK) were named to the All-Tournament team.
