Boyd was second on  the team in tackles in 1998 with 45 from a middle linebacker spot. His move to defensive end is expected improve the  Cobbers' pressure up front. 

8/25/98 Travis is a first year transfer, having played previously for one year at Bakersfield (CA) College. He recently completed a stint in the military, serving at the Grand Forks Air Force Base.
