Brian came on strong at the end of the 1997-98 season, leading the Cobbers in scoring in the final 5 games of the season. He had a career high 34 points in the Cobbers' Feb. 18 game at Augsburg. He ended the season as Concordia's leading scorer with 12 points per game. He was also Concordia's second leading rebounder (4.6 per game) and top free throw shooter (80-98, 81.6 %).
