Cobbers Run Win Streak to 3, Jump on Bethel 4-0.
Concordia scored two goals less than two minutes apart in the first half  to break open a scoreless game and jump all over Bethel 4-0. It was the third straight victory for Concordia and also their third consecutive shutout. Kevin Roos (Sr., Fargo, N.Dak.) had a goal and two assists to lead the Cobbers.

The Cobbers (4-2-0, 8-2-0) broke on top when Roos crashed towards the net and banged home a Gennard Lombardozzi (Sr., Billings, Mont.) cross at 17:52. Then, at 19:33, senior teammate Chance Buzzell (Sr., Anoka, Minn.) struck put away his team-leading seventh goal to put Concordia up by two. First year player Jon Grundstrom (Maplewood, Minn.) finished off the first half scoring on a diving header at 36:21.

Concordia took a 3-0 lead into the break and then extended the lead 17 minutes into the second half when Jerry Nathan (So., Fargo, N.Dak.) took a through ball from senior captain Scott Noland (Glenwood, Minn.) and slotted the ball past Bethel goalie Eric Berg.

Concordia goalie Kris Overby (So., Fargo, N.Dak.) made six saves and upped his shutout total to five for the season. Royal (2-3-1, 5-6-1) keeper Eric Berg made two saves before giving way to Matt Eberhardt, who collected 3 saves in 25 minutes of action.

The Cobbers will host Carleton on Sunday at noon in their final home game of the season.
