Beth Moen Sr. Andover, Minn. Led the Cobbers with a time of 19:24 at the UND Invite.

Cobbers Finish Fourth at UND Invitational.
The Concordia women's cross country team finished fourth at the UND Invitational which featured two of the premier NCAA Division II programs in the nation. The Cobbers were led by senior co-captain Beth Moen (Andover, Minn.) who finished 12th with a time of 19:24.

The meet was held at the Ray Richards golf course in Grand Forks. The weather conditions were ideal for the meet and the young Cobbers performed well, finishing fourth despite the absence of their top runner, junior Katie Martin (Jr., Bozeman, Mont.). Concordia finished with a team total of 104 points which placed them behind host UND (28 pts.), NDSU (51), and the University of Manitoba (55).

In addition to Moen, the top five Cobber runners were Lisa Owen (So., Minot, N.Dak.) who finished 17th with a time of 19:47, Jennifer St. John (Fr., Billings, Mont.) in 20th place at 20:01, Heather Shulstad (Jr., Fargo, N.Dak.) in 27th and Julie Miller (Fr., Duluth, Minn.) in 28th place with times of 20:23 and 20:24 respectively.

The next meet for the Cobbers will be September 22nd at 11:00am at the St. Olaf Invitational in Northfield.
