and he becomes the fourth Cobber to win the event at the MIAC Championships
in the past seven years. Last year Joe Schmidgall ('02, Morris,
Minn.) won the event with a total score of 6,264 points. Adam
Strainer ('01, East, Helena, Mont.) accomplished the feat as a junior
in 2000 with a school record of 6,747 points, and Ryan Williams
('97, St. Cloud, Minn.) won the event as a senior
Clark used a big first-event performance on the second day, running a 15.97 in the 110-meter high hurdles to score 736 points. Yesterday, he ripped off an 11.05 100-meter dash to score 851 points, his top-scoring event of the afternoon. He ran a 51.73 in the 400 meters to tally 753 points. Clark had personal best marks in seven of the ten events. His 100-meter dash time is the second fastest time in school history in the event. 4/30 Heat Sheets for MIAC Decathlon

Jeremy Pris (Sr., Somers, Mont./Flathead HS) finished just behind Clark in the 400-meter hurdles. Nylander finished second in the event and currently sits in fourth place among conference runners. (COLLEGEVILLE)-- For the second time in three weeks the Concordia men's track team went to St. John's to compete in a meet, and for the second consecutive time finished second. The Cobbers, who ran at Jamestown in the middle of the week, improved their overall team point total from 105 points in the March 29th meet to 132 points. The meet featured the season-opening 10,000-meter race for ultra-distance competitor Brian Stotts (Sr., Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove HS). Like the women, Concordia will split their team up for two events over the weekend. The Cobbers will send the majority of their athletes to the NDSU on April 17, while a select few will compete at the Kansas Relays on April 17-19. 4/09 Cobbers Finish Fourth at Jamestown
