Head Coach Steve Baumgartner 

Steve has been coach of the Concordia Woman's Fastpitch team since 1986. Steve has a long background in fastpitch, having played for the past 25 years on teams in the United States and Canada. He has appeared in seven Canadian Major Fastpitch Championships and three ASA Men's Major championships. In 1998, the DMS Knights of Fargo won the ASA Men's Class A National Championship and Steve was named first team All-American at the tournament. He also has appeared in four ISC World Tournaments including DMS's 1999, 12th place finish. 

Baumgartner is a 1982 Cobber graduate and also serves as the head hockey coach. He grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan. He and his wife, Lori ('82), live in Moorhead with their two daughters, Jenna and Whitney.
