of the Week.
Concordia sophomore forward Katie Jacques
(Tempe, AZ) was named the MIAC Co-Player of the Week. She scored six of
the seven goals for Concordia in the Cobbers two-game sweep of seventh
ranked UW-Superior. On Friday night she scored the first goal and the last
goal in Concordia's 3-1 victory. On Saturday she scored all four goals
in a 4-1 win. Coming into the series the Yellowjackets were 13-1 and ranked
seventh in the latest USCHO poll. With the two wins Concordia improves
to 11-7-0 on the year. The 11 wins sets a school record for most wins in
a season. For the season Jacques has 26 goals, also a school record, and
is third in the MIAC in goals scored.
