Coach Christopherson's Preseason Comments:
Jake made the switch from defense to offensive tackle last year and promptly made the All-MIAC first team.  Another year of experience and increased strength makes him one of the most diminating linemen in the conference.  Well liked by his teammates and coaches, Jake will serve as co-captain this year.

Jake was elected as a 1999 Cobber captain by his teammates and is the top returning player in the Cobbers' offensive line. He earned All-MIAC honors in 1998.
