9/17 Concordia Beats St. Scholastica in Overtime.
 Jason VanValkenburg (Fr., Fargo ND, Fargo, ND) scored the game-winning  goal one minute into the second overtime as Concordia edged St. Scholastica  in the final game of Cobber Classic III. St. Scholastica took the lead twice in  regulation only to have the Cobbers answer both times and send the game into overtime. All the scoring in regulation took place in the first half as the Cobbers received goals from Kevin Roos (Jr., Fargo ND, Fargo South) at 17:05 and Chance Buzzell (Jr., Anoka MN, Anoka) at 34:51. Buzzell's goal came on a penalty kick after first year student Dan Ravenhorst (Hollandale MN, Albert Lea) was dragged down in the box. Concordia improves to 3-2-1  on the year while St. Scholastica slides to 2-5. The Cobbers open MIAC  play on Saturday at home against Gustavus at 11:00.
