Cobber Divers Hall and Cullen Come Up Just Short in 3-Meter Competition!
- Complete Results
HOLLAND, Mich.-- Both of Concordia's divers that earned their way to the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving National Championship Meet held at Hope College in Holland, Mich. failed to qualify for the finals in the 3-meter competition on Saturday. Emily Hall (Sr., Minot, N.D.) and Annie Cullen both cam up short in the preliminary rounds of competition and did not reach the final in the event.

Hall, who finished fifth in the 1-meter event on Thursday, scored 362.0 points in the preliminaries and missed the eight-diver finals by 14.45 points. Her total score placed her 14th in the event, which earns her All-American honorable mention honors. She is now the first swimming and diving athlete to earn two All-American honors at a single championship meet. Shana Letness, the only other Cobber athlete to earn All-American honors, earned single All-American honorable mention status in the 1999 and 2001 meets.(More)
